Questions about plans
Can I really use it for free?
Yes. During early access every account gets every feature, and nothing is charged. When paid plans start, the Free plan stays free, with the full lye calculator and safety checks and no limit on calculations.
When do paid plans start, and what happens to my account?
We haven't set a date yet. We'll email you well before anything changes. New accounts will then get a 14-day free trial of Shop with no credit card. When a trial ends you move to Free automatically unless you choose a paid plan.
What happens if I downgrade or stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Anything over the Free limits becomes read-only: you can still view, search, print and export it. Batches that are already curing can always be finished, and QR codes on labels you've printed keep working.
Is the lye calculator or any safety check ever behind a paywall?
No. The calculator, SAP sources, safety checks and warnings are free on every plan.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, on every plan, at any time: CSV, JSON or a full archive.
How will I pay?
When billing starts, payments will be handled by Paddle, which also takes care of sales tax and VAT. There is no checkout yet.
